what will happen if we heat water in a closed container above 100 c on earth?

Answer:
The boiling point of water is 1000C.
If we heating water in a closed container at 1000C the water slowly forms vapours and the vapour pressure of steam will try to match the atmospheric pressure of earth.
Due to the container is closed the pressure is increased inside the container than the atmospheric pressure of earth.
This situation is very unstable hence for attaining equilibrium first the shape of the container will be distorted and finally, it will burst or will create a hole to pass the steam.
