What will happen if we did not form the constitution after independence? 

If the constitution would not have been formed after independence, then the government would not have had a clear guidelines as to how to govern. The fundamental rights are guaranteed to the people by the constitution. In the absence of the constitution, there would be utter confusion about the rights and duties of an Indian citizens. The worst case would have been the erosion of the spirit of democracy in the absence of the constitution.
