Under the Gandhi-Irwin Pact, the British government agreed to:

  1. Withdrawal of all ordinances and prosecutions.

  4. Restoration of confiscated properties of the satyagrahis.

On the other hand, the Congress agreed to the following:

  1. Suspension of the Civil Disobedience Movement.
  2. Participation in the Second Round Table Conference.
  3. Abandoning of the demand for investigation into police excesses.
