Following were the beliefs of the Radical Nationalists:

  1. The Radical Nationalists did not believe in the so called ‘British sense of justice and fairplay’.
  2. They considered the British rule to be more detrimental to India’s interests than to its good.
  3. They held that the British could never be expected to administer for the Indians’ welfare as the British economic and political interests were diametrically opposite to those of the Indians.
  4. They desired complete political independence as against the Moderate demand of self-government within the British Empire.
