Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is administered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science.Students clearing the KVPY 2017 written exam and interview will be eligible for direct admission in top institutes like IISc and the various IISERs.
Since Biology is required for the examination to clear as it contains 15 questions of it. So, it may be difficult for you to attempt the questions as there is no defined syllabus. Upto10th it is fine but it is necessary to have concepts clear for Class XI and XII Biology.
These pointers can help you out:
- Strengthen Your Fundamentals: Focus on the core concepts of the subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) rather than mugging them.
- Solve Previous Year Papers: Try to attempt as many KVPY Previous Year Papers as you can.
- JEE Preparation : If you have prepared well for JEE, you can hit the bull's eye. Cover the topics of JEE Main Syllabus because KVPY doesn’t have any well-defined syllabus.
