Let P be the principal, N = 3 months = 3/12 years = 1/4 years and R=5%
S I equals fraction numerator P cross times N cross times R over denominator 100 end fraction
25 equals fraction numerator P cross times 1 cross times 5 over denominator 100 cross times 4 end fraction
rightwards double arrow P equals fraction numerator 25 cross times 100 cross times 4 over denominator 5 end fraction equals R s. space 2000
