Answer:

A vector is a physical quantity that has magnitude and direction and

all the arithmetic calculation except for division ( not possible in vectors )

have to be performed by the rules of vector algebra .

A physical quantity having magnitude and direction is not necessarily

considered a vector if it uses mathematical rules of algebra to perform

arithmetic funtions ( + , - , * ) but is called a tensor .
