Hi Kumudini Porwal,

When a beam of light strikes fine particles of smoke, dust, water droplets etc., the beam of light is visible. This phenomenon of the scattering of light by colloidal particles is known as the Tyndall effect.

It is observed when sunlight passes through a canopy of dense forest.
