What is the rule of using 'lest' , 'notwithstanding' and 'nevertheless' in sentences ?  Give maximum important example plz..

Notwithstanding is mainly a preposition meaning in spite of.

Examples:

Australia’s economy remains sound notwithstanding falling commodity prices and a slowdown in China.

Notwithstanding your feedback, I’m not changing anything.

Lest is defined as something done in order to avoid an undesirable consequence.

Examples:

He won't go outside, lest he be eaten by those ravenous eagles.

Lest they be captured, the soldiers fled from the battlefield.

Nevertheless is defined as however or in spite of.

Examples:

They ran out of food and drinks at the party, but everyone had fun nevertheless.

The school uniform was an unattractive green; nevertheless, the headmaster refused to consider changing it to another color.
