what is the right way to write story for 10 marks and how much should we write?

For CBSE the maximum word limit for a 10 mark composition piece is 250-300 words.
Since the word limit does not give you scope to write an elaborate piece we suggest diving straight into the topic given to you.
This gives you time to develop the main act of your story better instead of focusing on unimportant descriptive information like the background.
A good command over the language and a strong vocabulary is what you need to come up with a great story.
We suggest you read a lot of literature in addition to solving past year papers to practice your story writing skills.
this will also help you understand the kinds of stories you are expected to write.
