Expert Answer
- Geostationary Satellites are a special type of Geosynchronous satellite which appear to be stationary to its observers from the surface of the Earth.
- These satellites are often used for processing or transmiting data only for a certain geographical area all-throughout.
- This geostationary nature of the satellite can only be achieved when the orientation of the satellite is just above or at zero degrees to the equator.
- Therefore, as per your question, option '[1].Plane of the Earth's equator' is the right answer.
