what is the meaning of coronary sinus

- Veins related to the blood circulation to the heart merge and form a large vessel called sinus.
- It is located at the posterior surface of the heart between the left atrium and left ventricle.
- It collects the venous blood or deoxygented blood from the heart (The blood which is supplied to the heart walls).
- It is then sent this blood to the right atrium for its oxygenation process.
