what is the function of leaves during photosynthesis

Expert Answer
Leaves play a very essential role in the process of photosynthesis. It helps in capturing sunlight for the photosynthesis to actually happen. Leaves have chlorophyll present for the sunlight to get captured. With that leaves also have stomatal opening which helps in exchange of gases for the process of photosynthesis.
