What is the difference between the Union Government and Union territorys.

Union Territories: -
All the states and union territories of India form the Indian Union. India has 8 Union Territories.
These are Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Delhi, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Puducherry and Lakshadweep.
Please Note: Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu were two different Union Territories earlier but according to a legislation passed by the Union government, these two have been now combined into a single Union Territory. (Came into effect from 26 January, 2020)
Union government: - Our Union Government governs the country.
The seat of the Union government is Delhi which the capital of India.
Making laws for the country is one of the main responsibility of Union government.
Union territory is a type of administrative division which is directly ruled by Union Government.Union territory has a Lieutenant Governor as an administrator who is also the representative of the President of India, appointed by the Central government.
