ICSE Class 10 Answered
what is the difference between Rotational motion and circular motion
Asked by Nilesh Raikar | 26 Jul, 2012, 08:11: AM
Expert Answer
In circular motion the body is revolved around an axis. In that motion all the points in that body has same angular velocity about that axis while in rotational motion, it is not so. The body is rotated about an axis and all the points on the body do not have same angular velocity.
