Gene

Allele

A gene is a part of DNA that determines a specific trait

Allele is a member of a pair or series of genes that occupy a specific position on a specific chromosome.

Genes are something we inherit from our parents

Alleles determine how they are expressed in an individual.

No pairing for genes

Alleles occur in pairs
