what is the difference between electric potential energy and electric potential

Both of these terms are analogous terms.
Potential is the energy required to move a unit charge from a point in space to infinity,
whereas, potential energy is the energy required to move any charge from a point in space to infinity.
thus we can say that potential is the potential energy per unit charge.
