what is the difference between census and survey?

In a survey, only a sample from the population is chosen which is then used to make predictions on the representation of the actual population. |
It is time consuming process and takes a long time to generate the results. |

As it takes more time to generate results, it is more accurate as compared to the survey. |
As the results are generated quickly, it is less accurate than the census. |
It is an expensive process and requires lots of money and personnel. |
It is inexpensive process. |
