What is the difference between absortive spectrum and action spectrum of photosynthesis? Both are red-blue. Is there any real difference b/w them?

Action Spectrum

1. It gives the range of wavelength absorbed by pigment.

1. Action spectrum shows what pigments and wavelengths of light actually involved in the photosynthesis.

2. This depends on the cellular and molecular build-up of the plant.
