Vectors are typed in Bold, i and j are unit vectors along x and y direction respectively

Let A = a i   and B = c i + d j

A + B = (a+c) i + d

A - B = (a-c) i - d j

resultant of (A+B) and (A-B) =  2a

Hence resultant of (A+B) and (A-B) is parallel to A , i.e. angle between  resultant vector of A+B and A-B  and vector A is zero
