Adverb clauses of condition are used to introduce a condition in the subordinate clause

Example: I will go if it stops raining

Unless you work hard, you will not get good marks.

Adverb clauses of time are used to introduce a time element in the subordinate clause.

Example: Whenever I see something interesting, I make a note of it in my diary.

Sunday is the day when daddy buys us pastries.
