The solubility product Ksp is the equilibrium constant for a chemical reaction in which a solid ionic compound is dissolved to yield its ions in the solution at given specified temperature.
Ksp is the equilibrium between solid and its respective ions in a solution. the value for the constant identifies the degree of which a compound can dissociate in water.
Higher the solubility constant the more soluble that compound is.
