Mughal Dynasty refers to the Great Mughal Empire in India which was established in 1526. By the end of the seventeenth century, the Mughal emperors were ruling over almost entire Indian Sub continent. Babar, the first Mughal ruler was a descendent of Genghis Khan from his mother’s side and Timur from his father’s side. Mughal dynasty in India is known for its sound administrative policies, economic reforms and the politically unification of the country. Akbar was one of the famous Mughal rulers who besides introducing many economic reforms also followed the policy of religious toleration. After the death of Aurangzeb, the Mughal Empire became weak. The Mughal dynasty came to an end after the death of Bahadur Shah Zafar who was exiled to Burma by the British.
