Expert Answer
For a pair of medium and a prism for a certain angle of incidence the angle of deviation is minimum. that angle of deviation is called minimum angle of deviation.
angle of deviation=i1+i2-A
for minimum angle of deviation the refracted ray inside the prism will be parallel to the base.
and i1=i2
second part of your question is not clear.
