Expert Answer
The Constitution is a comprehensive document containing a set of rules and norms which dictate how a country will be run. It regulates the powers and position of the three organs of the government – the legislature, the executive and the judiciary. It also moderates the relations between the government and the governed and protects the citizens from arbitrary State decisions. A Constitution distinguishes a democratic government from an absolute monarchy or a dictatorship.
