Hey Udit ! The movement of particles from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration is called diffusion. it occurs in case of solid and gaseous molecules. Osmosis is the movement of solvent molecules (water molecules) from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration across a semi permeable membrane. It occurs in case of only water molecules
