Manure is a decomposed organic matter which supplies small quantities of nutrients to the soil. It is prepared by the decomposition of animal excreta and plant waste.

If the soil contains excess of sand then the water holding capacity of the soil will be decreased and if the soil contains excess of clay then it can lead to water logging.
