What is light reflection and refraction?

Reflection

The phenomenon of bouncing back of light or change in the path of light rays into the same medium after striking a polished surface is called reflection of light.

Refraction

- A beam of light passing from one transparent medium to another obliquely, undergoes an abupt change in direction .
- This bending of light ray, at the surface of separation of two media is called refraction.
