- The time between sunrise and full daylight is called dawn while the time between sunset and complete darkness is called dusk.
- Dawn and dusk takes place as during sunrise and sunset, the Sun is below the horizon and the light received from the Sun is diffused. Much of this light is reflected by the clouds and the dust particles that are present in the atmosphere. So there is diffused sunlight causing dawn before the morning and dusk before the sunset.
