what is coelem ? what is its significance ?

Hi Harsh,

coelom is a fluid-filled body cavity, completely lined by tissue and formed from the mesodermal tissue of the embryo found in most multicellular organisms. 

Significance of coelom: 

  • It provides space for the movement of various internal body organs 
  • The fluid found in the coelom serves as cushion and prevents shock to the internal organs
