Answer:
A chemical Equation is the representation of a chemical reaction wherein Reactants are written in left with proper symbols and products in the right. 
Coefficients next to the symbols indicate the stoichiometric numbers. Subscripts are used to indicate the number of atoms of an element present in a chemical species.
Eg. CH4 + 2O2 → CO2 + 2H2O
