3. The bronchi are extensions of the windpipe that conduct air to and from the lungs.
4. Carbaminohaemoglobin is a compound of hemoglobin and carbon dioxide formed in the deoxygenated blood.
5. Oxyhaemoglobin is a bright red compound formed by the combination of haemoglobin with oxygen, present in the oxygenated blood.
6. Respiration is a process by which carbohydrates are oxidised to release energy.
