what if water is not necessary to dispose off human waste, like excreta? Can you imagine the amount of water that one can save if one didn’t have to flush the toilet?

Answer:
Indian people since ancient times used water for cleaning since water was abundant and cleaning was thorough providing better hygiene. But in some countries, throwing of human excreta was practised in which they have to wash the excreta with sponges and throw it in a yard in which household waste woyuld go thereby utilising no water. Also, people who would carry excretions in baskets were considered to be bad hygiene and were forced to live outskirts of the common residential areas. So, hygiene is the important case which best tells that water is necessary but with limited use. Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan has announced use of toilets instead of defecating in open which vause diseases. But the water must be used to maintain proper hygeine.

For use of flush in toilet will maintain proper hygiene and here we can try our best to use one time flush and put it off rather just opening the flush and come back.
