What happens if the president and prime minister disagree about some policy ? Does the view of prime minister always prevail?

Dear Athulya,

Whenever there are any disagreements between the President and the Prime Minister regarding a policy i.e. whose view point is better and such be accepted, the view point of Prime Minister will always prevail.

However, if the President does not follow the procedure he could be said to be violating the Constitution and can be held for impeachment.
