What do you mean by inland fisheries?State advantages and disadvantages of composite fish culture system. How can we overcome its disadvantage?

Inland fisheries includes riverine fishery, reservoir fishery, lake fishery, pond fishery and estuarine fishery.
Advantages of composite fish culture:
Different varieties of fishes utilize efficiently the natural food of all ecological niches of the pond and hence get good amount of food. They grow well without any competition for food and space and are also useful to each other. The yield of fish is also very high. The mortality rate in composite fish culture is negligible. The farmers are able to get better profits .
