what do u mean by allotropes of carbon?

Allotropes are the different compounds of the same element having different physical structures but similar chemical properties.
For example carbon have allotropes such as diamond, graphite, fullerens. That means these compounds consists of only carbon atoms. They are physically different but have similar chemical properties.
