Expert Answer
There are two types of equilibrium:
1. Dynamic equilibrium: It is the equilibrium maintained when the body is in motion. It is maintained by the semicircular canals in the inner ear.
2. Static equilibrium: It is the equilibrium when the body is at rest. It is maintained by the sensory cells located in Utriculus and sacculus of the vestibule.
