Expert Answer
If the prime factorisation of the denominator of the given rational is of the form of 2n5m then the decimal expansion of that rational number is terminating.
If the prime factorisation of the denominator of the given rational is not of the form of 2n5m then the decimal expansion of that rational number is non - terminating.
