What are the impacts of economics reforms on agriculture

Expert Answer
With a view to tackle the problems of the Indian agriculture, the government took undertook a series of reform measures. These are mainly known as Agrarian reforms.
Some of refroms were classified into Land reforms and the Green Revolution.
The impact of these reforms on agriculture was:
a) Rise in crop productivity
b) Change in cropping pattern from subsistence farming to commercial farming
c) Self suficiency in food grains due to the green revolution
d) Change in farmers outlook towards agriculture
e) Multiple cropping pattern led to a rise in the area of cultivation.
