What are the different types of anions? Give two examples of each.

There are 3 different types of anions:
1. Monovalent anions- These are anions having a valency of -1. Examples: NO2- and Cl-
2. Divalent anions- These are anions having a valency of -2. Examples: S2- and CO32-.
3. Trivalent anions- These are anions having a valency of -3. Examples: PO43- and N3-.
