What are the differences between commercial bank and Reserve Bank of India?

Reserve Bank of India: It is the banker of all the banks. It is an apex body. It controls the flow of credit within the economy. It is banker to the government. It is the custodian of nation’s foreign reserve. It operates for the welfare of the nation.

Commercial Bank: It operates under the control of RBI. It creates credit within the economy. It is the banker of the common public. It operates to maximise profit.
