Pulses

Cereals are the grasses that are harvested as they are rich in starch

A pulse is a type of legume which produces a grain seed in a pod where the dried seed is harvested.

Example- Rice, Barley, Wheat

Example- Beans, Grams

Rich in carbohydrates

Rich in proteins
