What are the causes of first carnatic war?

The First Carnatic War (1744-48) in india was caused mainly due to the War of the Austrian Succession due to the series of French victories over their English rivals in the south India. It was fought because of the conflict of imperialist interests between British and France and to curb the growing power of each other.
