Polyps and medusae are the two forms of organisms of Phylum Cnidaria.

Polyps are diploid, cylindrical and sedentary and exist in solitary or colonial forms. They reproduce asexually.

Medusae are free-swimming, diploid, umbrella-like forms. They reproduce sexually.
