What are different shapes avaialble in this world?

The basic shapes used in the world in our day to day life are square, rectangle, circle and triangle.
1. Every shape has its own function and purpose. Example: The shape of a wheel is circle. Due to this shape the vehicle can move ahead with ease.
2. Shapes also help to communicate about the things we use or see around us. The knowledge of shapes helps in describing and identifying things easily.
Example: To describe a traffic signal, we can say that the board of the signal is rectangular and the lights are circluar in shape.
3. Shapes also serve a creative purpose. We use them in drawings, constructions, architecture, patterns, designs, etc.
