Density of water = 1000 g/L.
Molecular mass of water = 18.02.
So, number of moles in 1 litre
= 55.5 moles.
1 mole of water = 6.022 x 1023 molecules of water,
So 55.5 moles of water = 55.5 x 6.022 x 1023
= 3.34 x 1025 molecules of water.
3.34 x 1025 molecules of water = 1 L,
1 molecules of water =
= 2.99.0 x 10–24 L.
10 molecules of water will be 2.99 x 10–24 ×10
= 2.99 x 10–23 L
