# Under what temperature will the volume of the gas at 0°C double itself if the pressure is kept constant? use charles' law

Asked by Aero 8th March 2017, 6:29 PM

Consider the Initial volume (V1)= x, T1= 273 K, V 2 = 2x, T2=?

By Charles' Law,

V1T2=V2T1

x  . T2 = 2x . 273

T2 = 546 K

T2 = 546 – 273 = 273° C
