sin |x| is a continuous function.
 
Reason:
Let f(x) = |x| and g(x) = sinx.
Then, (gof)(x) = g {f(x)} = g(|x|) = sin |x|
 
Now, f and g being continuous, their composite (gof) is continuous.
 
Hence, sin |x| is continuous.
