nerve inmpulse travel as electric irritablity in a neuron always from dendrites to cyton to axon to axon end to dendrite of next neuron n so on as neurons r connected end to end with each other in nerve fibres. it never travels fromaxon to dendrite of same newuron .

when impulse travels from sense organs to brain it travels through sensory nerves consisting of sensory neurons n when it travels from brain to efectors it travels through motor nerves consisting of motor neurons
