Q. Explain the product life cycle of Add gel pens

Product life cycle provides different stages of a product from introduction to decline. You need to do a little research on the product Gel pen of a particular brand. Analyse on the following grounds-
(1) When the product was introduced- collect information of competitive product, production and marketing cost, target-school chidren, youth, working segment
(2) Understand the growth of product- sales, entry of new competitive product if any, sales if decline analyse the reason
(3) Maturity stage - analyse the sales level, extension of the product line
(4) Decline stage if there is no advancement in the product, sales may decline. Then the revising the product to attract the consumers to stand long in the market.
